To say that the portfolio Tt eSports consists of many different gaming mice is almost nothing to say. Even on the official website in the section “Gaming Mouse” are about 30 models, and this is not so little. Of course, this number includes models that differ only in color, but really different, too much. There are unusual, for example, Tt eSports Ventus is equally comfortable for righties and lefties.
Despite the relatively modest price tag in $55, to which we shall return, Tt eSports Ventus (MO-VET-WDLOBK-01) has several features and what will learn on the pages of the review.
About accessories mouse to the more budget class immediately says and box. No, it is not made from some cheap materials, and not falling apart, just making, say, easier. Not like the more expensive solutions.
But we should note that the box has some practicality. If you tilt the lid, the whole mouse can be seen as a whole, and immediately we can estimate the size. Moreover, at the bottom of the box there is a slit, so it was easier to attach to the manipulator hand and feel how it sits in the hand. To do this, opening the box and deliver a “rodent” is not required.
On the flip side there is only the screenshot of the interface software with reference to the possibility of recording macros, and 15 languages, the words “Professional gaming mouse”. And that’s all.
But there is something to brag about. Yes, some features have already been mentioned on the hinged lid of the box, but you could still write about high-quality switches Omron, about the award RedDot Award 2015 for its uncompromising design.
Inside the box the mouse is fixed in a plastic blister, but underneath in a separate compartment is loaded. Equipment, by the way, for $50 quite good. In addition, the so-called in the vernacular, “spam”, referring to the owner with warranty and user manual in the box is the software CD, a pair of stickers with the logos of the manufacturer in the black and white color, and cover with the logo.
If the design is not to find fault, in fact it is a normal box, and the kit too. The protection function of the manipulator during transport performs perfectly, and most buyers pay attention to the box once – at the time of purchase.
At first glance at the mouse catches the eye almost completely covered with a honeycomb back. If the above Level 10 M Advanced, and in other mice from the L10, but this idea was only in its infancy, here it is elevated to the apotheosis.
On the left and right side at the back there is a fairly large slot through which not only convenient to clean the platform with illuminated logo, but also through which air flows to thereby honeycomb. If when playing with the other mice, the hand sweats noticeably, in the case of Tt eSports Ventus this will not happen.
Moreover, I am not afraid to say that Tt eSports Ventus is probably the only such mouse one present now on the market, except of course its different modifications with the letters “X”, “Z”, etc.
Speaking of the backlight. In red is highlighted by a huge logo for honeycomb, scroll wheel, and a honeycomb pad on the left button. Index finger rests exactly on this illuminated area.
4 additional buttons: one on the right side (ring finger), one on the left (thumb) and two in the middle just above the wheel. It may seem that the two Central located in the extreme uncomfortable, but in fact their location very successfully. The index finger they are very easy to press, even without changing the grip hand. These two buttons are relatively hard, which is good. When you scroll the wheel doesn’t accidentally pressed. If desired, all of the bundled software can be disabled because it is possible for them to define specific actions or prescribe macros.
At the bottom of the manipulator two large Teflon feet, which is enough for smooth motion. Still have a cap under which there are additional weights. Three weights, 4.5 g each. They are made of Nickel (Nickel will not rust), are inserted into a foam damper, and in it sit reliably. Inside the mouse, do not hang and, accordingly, do not knock. And indeed, the system of adjustment of weight in the mouse for $50 – already dignified.
Inside there is a sensor Avago 9500, which can work in a range 100-5700 dpi, which is sufficient in the vast majority of cases. Though many complain about the Avago sensors, personally I have to them no claims. And all worked well. In any case, a rag rug on a plastic Mat on a wooden table and on the glass.
Also the specifications mentioned high quality switches are Japanese Omron. However, their life is never mentioned. This is not a problem, because… because housing probably will RUB a hole than to break the switch (true for 99.9% of mice).
In the end of the wire. It is quite thin, fabric braid, and a length of 1.8 m. At the end of the original plug Tt with gold.
After installing the software opens the program window, made in the familiar black and red colors, and that will be from the first glance it is clear not only to the owners of other peripherals Thermaltake, but generally to all. The interface is easy and intuitive.
There is a choice of profile which can be assigned to five pieces. They are chosen at the top of the program, and the left part of the given names and profiles can be imported/exported to save, etc.
Macros are written in a typical manner. Press “Record” in the macros menu, the mouse or keyboard, click the desired button and then “Stop”. The program also takes into account the time between keystrokes. If desired, this time can be set manually.
In the tab “Performance” you can set the polling frequency, LOD (for the most part useless, but helps to adjust the mouse specifically for its playing surface), and assign sensitivity to each of the four levels. It is possible to switch the dpi “on the fly”. By default it is the Central buttons.
And the last section – “Light Option”, responsible for the lighting. It really is simple: three zones, and each of them, the button to turn on/off.
Good and convenient, but there is a small minus. To the English version, no complaints at all, but this game, unfortunately, only partially translated.
Not to mention that when you save settings they are stored in the mouse, for which it has 128 KB of memory. When you connect a “rodent” to another computer, all settings will be saved.
In the end, the Tt eSports Ventus (MO-VET-WDLOBK-01) was quite a good mouse, at least initially, in truth, I treated a little skeptical. It will fit almost all: the right and left-handed (the case is symmetrical and it is also worth noting), people a big hand and not a big, loving manipulators heavier and easier. And of course those who have the long game of sweaty palms, making a Tt eSports Ventus’appreciated.
The recommended price tag is $55 for the CIS countries (abroad it costs $50). Suddenly, in Russia, prices start from 2,500 rubles, or $40.
And for $40, and $55 Tt eSports Ventus is a great choice.
And cons Tt eSports Ventus… and for it nothing to say much. For such a modest price tag I’m willing to forgive a lot. Except that the design can be not for everyone, but this is purely a personal matter.
