Taiwanese company Thermaltake, famous for the release of a variety of computer peripherals, announced a game manipulator called Thermaltake Ventus X Plus. A distinctive feature of the novelty is the ability to collect and transmit user statistics.
The device is equipped with a Bluetooth-module, thanks to which the synchronization with either a mobile phone (iOS / Android) or a personal computer. By the way, proprietary software is called Thermaltake’s Tt eSports Plus + and allows you to process mouse usage statistics in a variety of situations.
For each genre of computer games (FPS, RPG, RTS, etc.), information on the total distance traveled, the total number of actions, the number of actions per minute (APM), the number of clicks per minute, the period during which the mouse lies on a solid Surface, and time while the manipulator is above it. Further, users can send the received information to the servers of Tt eSports Community & Data Management Platform in order to share the results, compare their statistics with pro-gamers and compete with other users in all sorts of topics.
As for the technical characteristics, they practically coincide with the predecessor in the person of Ventus X RGB. Thermaltake Ventus X Plus mouse is designed for right-handed users. It has an optical sensor with resolution of 10 000 dpi with the ability to “on the fly” to change the sensitivity. Omron switches with a resource of 20 million presses, three additional weights of 4.5 grams each, six programmable buttons and LED RGB- Modes of operation – Pulse and Game. The physical dimensions of the manipulator are 129x71x43 mm, weight – 100 grams (without cable and weights), and the USB connector has a gold plated coating.
Thermaltake Ventus X Plus mouse will appear on store shelves in the near future. Its recommended price is $50.
