NVIDIA will release graphics card GeForce GTX 1050 in December

Earlier this week there was an information on the web about that NVIDIA could release a 3-gigabyte version of GeForce GTX 1060, which will receive a smaller number of the CUDA processors, compared with a 6-gigabyte version. But then it became known that the Californian manufacturer dropped the idea. Instead, in December NVIDIA could release a model GeForce GTX 1050.

As is known, NVIDIA disposal there are two versions of the chip GP106 Pascal: GP106-400, which became the basis for the card GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB and GP106-300, which could be used in GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB. Now, however, the latter is likely to meet us as part GeForce GTX 1050, that is more logical than the first option.

Recall that GP106-300 carries in its structure in 1152 CUDA-cores, while GP106-400 has 1280 stream processors. Given the fact that NVIDIA is planning to ask for a GeForce GTX 1060 3GB of about US $ 150, with the same price tag will go to the shops and the adapter GeForce GTX 1050.

By the way, the source claims that NVIDIA will not pull with the announcement of GeForce GTX 1050 to officially present it shortly after launch on sale GTX 1060, which, as we know, starts on July 19 this year.
