Case Nanoxia Project S is very interesting. In fact, we have a very large model in HTPC Desktop format with dimensions of 490 x 250 x 460 mm (W x H x D). Due to a similar volume of customers you can not worry about component selection restrictions. There is an alternative: Nanoxia Project S can be installed vertically as a Midi Tower, if you want to create from it a gaming computer. Since the body belongs to the premium category, it was not without its aluminum and tempered glass. Finally, the motherboard tray can be pulled out as a locker, and even during system operation.
In the case market, it is available in all-black color scheme and in a variant with a silver front panel. Case Nanoxia Project S appeared in Europe at a price of 232 euros , so that in front of us is the most expensive model Nanoxia. We have repeatedly pointed out that Nanoxia Project S can be used as a normal Midi Tower case. In this orientation, the case looks very different, and it takes up much less space. Supplied with self-adhesive feet, so you can install them in any mode.
The glass panel of the case is attached with four screws with flat knurled head, below the glass rests on the rubber strip. Unscrew the screws are quite time-consuming – is difficult to catch the fingers, and a screwdriver blade can knock over cover screws. Furthermore, the rubber adheres to the glass strips. We had to force them to take off from the glass, which is required to handle very carefully. The interior of the case is quite typical for the modern Midi Tower. Of special features include three mounts for 2.5 “drives.
The power supply unit is screwed to the rear through a mask foam. If you stick to the power supply small rubber feet, it will not come into contact with the metal case. Expansion cards are fastened outside the case by conventional cross head screws.
In Nanoxia Project S have two options of fastening drives. As we already mentioned, inside there are three separate mounts for 2.5 “hard drives or the SSD. The drives them simply bolted, and the cables are laid for the motherboard tray. Attaching themselves also can be removed, it is sufficient to unscrew a few screws. Between the front panel and 2 5 “mounts space is about 8.5 cm, so the body can be installed a heat exchanger front NWO (240 or 280 mm). For measurement of the maximum temperature of the CPU test, we used the free tool Prime95, which loads the system for 30 minutes.
