In early summer, Lenovo will launch a new representative of the IdeaPad line of laptops on the market. The new laptop is called Lenovo IdeaPad 720S. It is notable for the “frameless” screen design and boasts a 15.2 mm thick body with a mass of about 1.6 kg.
Laptop Lenovo IdeaPad 720S is equipped with a 14-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Depending on the configuration, the Intel Core i5-7200U (2 cores / 4 streams, 2.5 / 3.1 GHz) or Core i7-7500U (2 cores / 4 streams, 2.7 / 3.5 GHz), and for graphics processing is the discrete adapter Nvidia GeForce 940MX 2GB. The amount of RAM DDR4 is 8 or 16 gigabytes.
To store data, one NVMe-drive with a capacity of 256 or 512 GB is provided. The laptop also includes a wireless adapter Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1, a battery with a capacity of 56 Wh, which should be enough for eight hours of battery life, as well as a fingerprint scanner. On the sides of the device are available two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C / Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, a card reader slot and a combined 3.5-mm audio jack. The laptop comes with a preinstalled operating system Windows 10.
Lenovo IdeaPad 720S will appear in retail on June 27. The recommended cost of a configuration with a Core i5-7200U processor, eight gigabytes of RAM and a 256-gigabyte drive is $ 950.
