The American company EVGA has presented to the world public their first water cooling system for the processor. Models combined in series EVGA Closed Loop CPU Cooler (CLC), which at this stage is offered two variants – 400-HY-CL12-V1 and 400-HY-CL28-V1. In the first case we are talking about the decision with a 120 mm radiator, the second – with the 280-mm.
The contact plate is made from copper water block due to the mounting system and it can be installed on socket Intel LGA2011 / 1150/1151/1155/1156/1356 and AMD AM2 / AM3 / FM1 / FM2. On the outer side provided illumination RGB LED, which with the help of proprietary software can sync with backlit graphics accelerator EVGA. Data on the local pump there is little, except that it differs a maximum sound pressure level of 20 dBA.
Radiators made of aluminum. For 120mm model dimensions are 122 x 156 x 28 mm, 280 mm – 139 x 312 x 27. As for fans mounted on them (in each case, two), the 400-HY-CL12-V1 is 120 teflon-mm models with frequency nanobearings 500-2400 revolutions per minute, the airflow to 74,82 CFM and sound pressure 16-39,9 dBA. The 400-HY-CL28-V1 implemented fans of 140-mm format at a rate of 600-2200 rev / min, the air flow 113,5 CFM and sound pressure 16-39,5 dBA.
CBO EVGA Closed Loop CPU Cooler (CLC) provided a five-year warranty and will start to sell at the price of $ 89.99 (120 mm) and $ 129.99 (280 mm).
