The maximum brightness was at the level of 243 CD/m2, and the lower value was 18 CD/m2. Contrast ratio 1250:1 on average. Dell U2417HWi color triangle on the CIE diagram is noticeably shifted relative to the standard sRGB. Manual adjustment and calibration can be corrected only part of the problem than we do.
After the procedure the color gamut of the monitor has changed within the error of measurement.

But with the gamma curves, the situation is reversed – the Dell engineers apparently worked. Yes, they don’t exactly match the reference curve, but it’s still better than in standard installations.

The uniformity of the backlight was tested after reducing the brightness at the center point of the monitor to 100 CD/m2. Color temperature was very close to the level of 6500 K at the expense of edits RGB Gain mode Custom Color.

Dell U2417HWi is good Full HD monitor for those who want to get rid of the wires, but only if we forget about its price and not the quality of the factory setup. A potential user should be aware of the fact that to achieve an equally smooth, sharp and quality pictures, as for a wired connection when using WiDi will not work.Wireless Display technology, despite the technical specifications, even at the end of 2016 incapable of this.
