The Canon company officially provided the camera of a premium class PowerShot G1 X Mark III which became a new flagship of the Powershot G family. The novelty is expected enthusiasts and exacting users. It, allegedly, combines image quality at the level of the Canon EOS reflex cameras with convenience of control and the compact sizes of a series of Powershot.
In the device APS-C CMOS sensor (22,3 × 14,9 mm) from 24 million effective pixels is applied. Value of light sensitivity — ISO 100–25600, the range of exposures — from 1/2000 to 30 pages.
The camera received a lens with a three-fold optical zoom lens (24–72 mm in a 35-mm equivalent) and the minimum distance of focusing of 10 cm.
This optics allows to work in a broad range of genres — from portraits to macrophotos. The diaphragm with nine lobes allows to blur beautifully a background and to create effect a side. In new model for the first time among compact cameras of Canon the Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology — technology of fast and exact autofocusing is used.
The system of stabilizing of the image compensates four steps of exposure and smooths involuntary movements of the camera, helping to remove surely even in case of feeble illuminance or in an intense situation. The camera is allocated with the electronic viewfinder with the OLED display and the turning touch screen with diagonal three inches.
There are adapters of a wireless communication Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth, the NFC module, SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, USB 2.0 and HDMI ports.
Record of video records in the Full HD format (1920 × 1080 points) with a speed of 60 frames per second and serial photographing with a speed of 9 frames per second is supported. Controls of Powershot G1 X Mark III are similar to elements on the cameras EOS, but are adapted for the compact casing of Powershot. Overall dimensions make 115,0 × 77,9 × 51,4 mm, weight — 400 grams. The novelty will go on sale in November at the estimated price of 1300 US dollars.
