The assortment of professional graphics accelerators from AMD on the eve of replenished with two new entry-level models – AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 and Pro WX 3100. Both new products are built on the 14-nanometer graphic processor Polaris 12 (Lexa Pro) and are designed to provide a sufficient level of performance in the CAD- Applications, the creation of media content and complex scientific calculations.
Both video accelerators operate with 512 stream processors and provide a performance of 1.25 TFlops for single precision calculations and about 78 GFlops in FP64 operations. The memory subsystem of the Radeon Pro WX 3100 model includes 4 GB of GDDR5 with a 128-bit bus and a bandwidth of 96 GB / s. Meanwhile, the adapter AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 is satisfied with two gigabytes of GDDDR5 with a 64-bit interface and a bandwidth of 48 GB / s.
Novelties are made in the form of low profile expansion cards and occupy the space of one slot. The heat is removed by a small cooler with an aluminum radiator and a 50-mm centrifugal fan. The nominal TDP level is 50 and 35 watts for the older and younger models, respectively.
Graphics accelerators AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 and Pro WX 3100 will go on sale this month. The recommended cost of new products is 199 and 149 dollars.
