Akasa Taiwanese company has announced the imminent release of the new body for Intel Skull Canyon NUC systems (NUC6i7KYK), informs FanlessTech. It is still unnamed new outline is similar to another product of the Taiwanese – housing Plato, and notable array of aluminum fins on the sides of which are engaged in heat dissipation from the CPU.
It is noted that the housing without any problems coping with the cooling of the processor Intel core i7-6770HQ (4 cores / 8 threads, 2.6 / 3.5 GHz) with TDP level of 45 Watts. The main material used in the manufacture of new products, is aluminum. Presumably, inside there is a place for the installation of at least one 2.5-inch drive. The available connectors on the faces of the body except for the missing card reader slot is identical to a standard set of connectors mini-PC Intel Skull Canyon.
Detailed specifications Akasa case promises to publish in the near future, and novelty sales will begin in March. The estimated price is not reported.
