During yesterday’s press conference, Acer presented two new game monitors of the Predator line: Acer Predator Z27U1V and X27. Both displays have a diagonal of 27 inches, notable for the support of technology Nvidia G-Sync and Quantum Dot, and also boast a built-in camera from Tobii Technology, which manages to look at the user.
Acer Predator Z27U1V is built on the basis of a curved TN-panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a radius of curvature of 1800 mm. The monitor provides a 130-percent coverage of the sRGB palette, is characterized by a response time of 1 ms and a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz. For connection to the image source, the DisplayPort and HDMI ports are provided. Among other things, we should note the presence of 7-watt stereo speakers and a four-port USB 3.0 splitter.

The Acer Predator X27 monitor uses an AHVA matrix with a resolution of 3840×260 pixels, a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 4 ms. The passport brightness of the display is 1000 cd / m², and the illumination itself is divided into 384 independent zones. The novelty fully meets the requirements of the HDR10 standard and provides a 99-percent coverage of the Adobe RGB palette. To connect to a computer, you can use the DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connectors.
According to preliminary data, the monitor Acer Predator X27 will go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year, and its price will be over 1500 dollars. Officially, the release date and recommended cost were not announced.
